Our History and Our Why
Encrosys Ltd is the Managed Service Provider arm of PlatformPlus Ltd, a social enterprise (registered charity) that forms part of the Community Living Group, an organisation that was first established in 1989, primarily to support people with intellectual disabilities to leave the institutionalised care model of Tokanui Hospital and live amongst their local community. Today, the organisation has evolved well beyond its original mandate, now supporting people with intellectual disabilities throughout the Midlands region to live their dreams through community connections.
Community Living's 'cloud and capability' social enterprise 'PlatformPlus' was established in 2012, and two years later, it started to operate as a separate subsidiary pursuing a growth strategy in the best interests of the people and families supported by the sector. Following on from this, Encrosys was established as the customer-facing company charged with delivering cloud and capability outsourced services to the market.
Our success to date has come from our deep, proven and genuine understanding of end-to-end market needs from customer to client. With Community Living as a key client, we have first-hand experience and knowledge that we can leverage for others to build on.
